Fully conceived, developed, produced, assembled, adjusted and encased in Frederique Constant's workshops in Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland, the manufacturing process of the Manufacture Collection timepieces requires extensive work, and is done –mostly by hand- for the pure pleasure of the connoisseurs of high quality watchmaking.
This FC-760 complication is inspired by 1930’s Flyback Chronographs and a desire to go beyond a regular chronograph construction. Whereas the regular chronograph function is used as a stopwatch to measure time during a specific elapsed interval, with a Flyback, a user is able to operate the chronograph without resetting it to zero every time. With the flyback, the chronograph’s hand can be stopped, reset to zero, and restarted with one push of a button. This function is essential for timing an elapsed interval of events during races.
This watch also features a skeleton caseback to allow viewing of the complicated movement, which has Perlage & Circular Côtes de Genève decoration. Rose gold plated polished and satined stainless steel case, diameter of 42 mm, date sub-dial, water resistant to 5 ATM. Brown alligator strap and folding clasp.
